Lead Engineer Battery System (f/m/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical authority and decision-maker on assigned projects within his filed of responsibility
  • Supports business development by providing expertise in customer meetings
  • Translates customer needs into technical requirements
  • Supports the acquisition process of project proposals, including follow-up projects and/or project extension
  • Identification with project staffing needs
  • Guides, assess and reviews of the daily work of the project members and provides guidance to ensure the accuracy and quality of work according to the relevant guidelines and processes
  • Prepares and delivers technical status presentations to the customer
  • Releases and reviews technical reports and other technical-relevant documents
  • Ensures the know-how development and transfer as well as the continuous improvement of leading technologies and methodologies within his field of responsibility
  • Provides technical support, as required, to skill teams
  • Identifies solutions to resolve project-related technical conflicts
  • Conducts patent queries and files patent applications for innovative solutions relevant to AVL
  • Provides leadership to the setup and maintenance of AVL databases within the field of responsibility
  • Resolves conflict on assigned projects with the help of the Project Manager and Team Lead / Skill Team Lead, as required

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Electrical engineering or mechatronic engineering or comparable graduate of a university of technology/university of applied sciences
  • Deep battery technology knowledge
  • Preferably 5-10 years of experience in battery projects in the automotive sector; ideally at an OEM or tier 1 company in the ECM field
  • Knowledge of the common Automotive quality standards (ISO16949, ASPICE)
  • Knowledge of project management principles according to automotive development processes
  • Self-directed, systematic and structured approach to work
  • Good communication skills, organizational and teamwork skills
  • Very good knowledge of English and enthusiasm for international cooperation

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €63,000.00. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
